Punk Forever: an exhibition by Gerrion Jones
Punk Forever
is an exhibition showing all
aspects and colours - as
well as the educational value - of punk through a refreshing and fun
look at how punk changed
the world, and how it has continued to evolve from 1976 to the
present day. It includes art, music, fashion and poetry collected
and designed by
Gerrion Jones.
The whole story is told via rare and original work created by artists such as Jamie Reid, James Cauty and Billy Childish, as well as posters of bands such as The Clash, The Damned and The Sex Pistols. The exhibition also includes Gerrion’s own work.
Punk Forever is making its Scottish debut at Rothes Halls, Glenrothes until 15th July 2010. Watch a short film about Punk Forever, view images from Punk Forever in Glenrothes or see all Punk Forever galleries.
Punk Forever is a way of life chosen by the individual and we would like to feature your stories, gig dates, photos, art and poetry. Contact us with your comments or get in touch on Facebook or MySpace.
We also welcome enquiries from venues interested in hosting Punk Forever.
